About Dr. Sasevich

We are continuing to improve healthcare access in our communities with Michael Sasevich MD in our expanding network.  Dr. Sasevich’s research interests include heart transplantation, total artificial heart (TAH), left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), biventricular assist devices (BIVAD) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). He is the primary investigator (PI) in 3 major national trials: Momentum 3 (Abbott’s HeartMate III LVAD), Syncardia’s Destination Therapy for total artificial heart (TAH DT), and Syncardia’s Bridge to Transplant with 50 cc driver. As a physician, Dr. Sasevich believes in open communication and candidness. This approach fosters the development of strong, productive interpersonal relationships between him and his patients. He takes pride in his ability to get to know his patients well and build a trustworthy relationship. He is devoted to comprehensive health practices of all his patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sasevich has been a rock n roll drummer who has played drums since the 4th grade; he loves cannoli’s, Italian cookies, Christmas all year round and shrimp scampi. He believes in tithing and gives to whomever or whatever charity God directs him.

Dr. Sasevich is now accepting new patients and most major insurance plans.
