About The Provider

FCPP welcomed Dr. Sheila Hodgson to its expanding network of healthcare providers. She is double Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery. As a general surgeon she has experience with breast surgery, hernias, gallbladders and skin legions. She performs invasive and minimally invasive options for colon, rectal and anal surgeries. Her care philosophy is to focus on overall patient wellness by encouraging them to eat healthy, exercise and not smoke.

In her personal life, she is a proud immigrant to the U.S. - she came as toddler and was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an adult, she joined the military and served four years on active duty. Later, as an army reservist, she was deployed both to Iraq and Afghanistan as a Surgeon. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, traveling, gardening, reading and weight training.
